KirbEbike Vapour embraces everything we have learnt from years of experimentation with electric bikes and we think is our best, most refined electric bike yet.
Vapour is based on the all new Vapour 1.0 chassis, made of high spec AL6061 T6 Aluminium alloy this frame is a strong full suspension platform designed for maximum agility in the twists and turns of the most demanding trails whilst remaining stiff enough to handle the incredible torque of the M620 motor. Vapour is available in 3 sizes and supports 27.5 inch wheels. The frame has a 66.5 degree head angle designed around 140-160mm front suspension travel. Rear suspension uses a vertically mounted 190x50mm shock providing 144mmm rear arm travel.
What makes the Vapour chassis unique? firstly it's clever battery mounting system which blends the battery to the frame without compromising strength or requiring a proprietary battery, in fact we will also be making the battery case available for the battery self builders out there! Secondly the motor mount is designed exclusively to fit the readily available M620 powerhouse from Bafang. This motor delivers incredible torque of 160nm and power up to 1500W (more with higher power batteries!!). This kind of power will have you soaring uphill past big brand eMTB's costing 3 times as much whilst still having the maneuverability of a proper eMTB in the turns! They wont catch you on this one!
Vapour is avilable in 3 frame sizes; 17, 19 and 21 inches. The finish is in stunning matt black to allow for customisation or that stealth look.
